Closeness launches 4 Play in Benissa

Enjoy the best and latest technology in TV, mobile, landline and internet connectivity services.

Just over a year ago, residents of Benissa were able to benefit from the roll-out of fibre-optic broadband by Closeness; they can now sign up for the 4 Play package, which offers an attractive bundle of TV, mobile and landline services, and internet access at an unbeatable price.

The Mirror of La Marina wants to get to know this company better, which was founded in 1996 as a business and has been an operator for 14 years, and what better way than to meet with its director, Sunday Mira.

This entrepreneur never stops coming up with new projects so that the residents of the towns in which they operate can access the latest technologies in a simple, accessible way and with modern facilities.

But how does fibre optic reach Benissa?

The truth is, it was very difficult for us to get the town wired up, but the Town Hall helped us a lot to get the residents to understand. It was a big investment in cabling, as a lot of civil engineering work was done.

But the balance has been very good. We were the first to offer 50-meg symmetric here in the municipality, while other companies were offering ADSL with all its limitations.

But that's not all, as Closeness went a step further and offered symmetrical speed with 50 megas and, according to Mira, within 6 months all those customers we gained back then will be upgraded to 100 megas for the same important price, without any increase in their bill.

“All of this has made us evolve, and we’ve been deploying fibre for over a year now. The evolution is that a month and a half ago, we installed a television headend, the 4 play, to offer residents mobile and landline telephony, television, and internet access,” points out the director of this company.

Furthermore, a multitude of channels have been considered and a very aggressive offer has been launched, “as we are half the price of the dominant operator and between 20-25 percent below other operators in the area.”.

With the plus, that television package will be gradually increased by adding more channels in other languages, such as Russian, English, German, Dutch, and French, so that any citizen living in the area can watch television in their own language.

The company is taking stock of these months of implementation and describes them as very positive, expecting to be able to launch an even more aggressive offer in the next six months.

Among the most immediate projects this company has is the deployment of fibre optic in the town of Teulada Moraira, which will begin shortly, and will be progressively cabled throughout the two urban centres and subsequently in the urbanisations.

Regarding this, Mira highlights that it will make them pioneers in this area and will then expand towards Calp.

The objective, therefore, is to ensure that both citizens and businesses in general enjoy the best and latest technology in their connectivity services and that users who wish to can sign up for the packages on offer.

A company with many years of experience that has implemented its services in the Cuenca area, in around 12 municipalities, in the Valencia area, in several towns and urbanisations, and in the Marina Alta region, in Benissa, Teulada Moraira, Calpe and Benitatchell. With the added benefit that they provide employment to the local citizens, which is commendable.

So, don't resist calling or checking out the fantastic offer they've launched in Benissa and follow their great work at www.closeness.es, aiming to bring the internet closer to all citizens and encompassing it all in a comprehensive package of accessibility and services. You'll be able to find out many more details in upcoming reports.
